Definitely lots of heat between Guy and Cadence。 A lot of misunderstanding and stubbornness， too。 Maybe even excessively so。 And Cadence is a bit too obtuse about her condition。 But Guy is persistent enough to not let his mate get away， even in the face of Cadence’s stubbornness。 4 stars。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。

A beautiful storyGuy is in need of finding his mate and then when he feels most defeated and depressed， he meets Cadence。 Later on he knows she is his mate but due to her lack of trust she runs away from him， until later on they find out their only night together had consequences。 I feel like she was too hard on him， even after knowing the truth， but oh well。 I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。
